Rowmark acquires laser marking and engraving products supplier LaserBits

    Rowmark has acquired laser marking and engraving products supplier LaserBits, effective August 13, 2015.

    Findlay, OH - Engravable plastic sheet materials maker Rowmark has acquired laser marking and engraving products supplier LaserBits (Phoenix, AZ), effective August 13, 2015.

    With distribution facilities in Arizona and Ohio, LaserBits also offers educational services regarding laserable materials through the use of seminars and their Laser University segment. Mike Fruciano, the co-founder of LaserBits, has joined the Rowmark team as part of the transaction.

    The LaserBits acquisition marks the second add-on for the Rowmark platform since being acquired by Bertram Capital (San Mateo, CA) in September 2013. The Bertram and Rowmark teams remain focused on pursuing additional strategic acquisitions, including manufacturers of engravable materials or personalization products; suppliers of consumable products and accessories; providers of sublimation products and accessories; and manufacturers of marking or digital print equipment.
