Wirefab purchases fiber laser cutting machine

Wirefab, a manufacturer of wire- and metal-based products, has purchased a fiber laser cutting machine.

Worcester, MA - Wirefab, a manufacturer of wire- and metal-based products for restaurant equipment manufacturers, bakeries, OEMs, and display industries, has purchased a Trumpf 1030 fiber laser cutting machine. The machine allows the company to cut up to 0.5-in.-thick cold-rolled and stainless steel, as well as aluminum and tubing.

The company's capabilities include design; fulfillment; program rollout; wire forming and fabrication; aluminum fabricating, including cutting, bending, rolling, forming, and stamping; and resistance welding, gas metal arc welding (GMAW), and gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW).
