• Toyota agrees to speak at ALAW-06

    December 13--Organizers of ALAW 2006 are pleased to announce that a representative from Toyota Motor Corp. will present at the conference in March.

    December 13--Organizers of the annual Automotive Laser Applications Workshop (ALAW-06) are pleased to announce that Yasuhiro Yamamoto of Toyoto Motor Manufacturing North America Inc. and Keisuke Uchida and Kazuhisa Mikame both of Toyota Motor Corp. have agreed to present at the conference. The tentative title of their paper is "Laser body welding at Toyota."

    Previously, Toyota has been limited in the amount of information it has been willing to share at such venues. The ALAW-06 is scheduled for March 29-30 in Plymouth, MI. For more information, contact [email protected].
