Fabrinox operates two laser cutters: 3kW and 5kW Trumpf machines with 2m x 4m auto loading facilities. Tubular sections from diameters 25mm to approximately 400mm can be processed in a highly accurate and cost-effective fashion to accurately meet customer requirements.

The laser department of Fabrinox functions on a three-shift system, with the backing of material stock in popular sizes being available through consignment stock or imported material. Material handling, control over customers' material and scrap, remains a focus for the laser department, seen in the light that this will be part of the key to maintain the stable costing structure of the company as well as improved efficiency.
