One of these, JPSA Laser, has just added new capabilities and enhancements to its expanding contract laser machining services. The company handles a variety of applications from semiconductor processing to biomedical and blue LED wafer scribing and more.

This contract manufacturing facility now houses ten state-of-the-art UV laser workstations. The application lab is equipped with a host of diagnostic equipment for laser process development and characterization. Recently company engineers have developed F2 laser, optics, calorimetry and beam delivery technology.

JPSA Laser's core capabilities include expertise in UV materials processing at wavelengths ranging from 355 nm down to 157 nm. Typical applications include: micro-fluidics, LEDs, sensors, inkjets, chip-scale packaging, device-scale packaging, wire stripping and more. The company processes polymers, plastics, ceramics, semiconductor materials, diamond and other precious material.
