    A new green laser is breaking global records, thanks to the groundbreaking coherent beam combining approach. And the Jerusalem-based team of researchers says the technology’s performance and efficiency are unmatched by its traditional counterparts.

    Hybrid perovskites are in a prime position to take LEDs, lasers, and other technologies to the next level. Currently in development by a collaborative multi-university team, organic perovskites incorporating semiconductors already show promise for advanced optoelectronics.

    Researchers in the U.S. and Europe have created metasurfaces that trigger quantum entanglement in ways that were impossible even just a year ago. The new device could potentially replace complex optical setups and boost various quantum-related applications.
