For the 3 µm copper, pulse format was 950 kW peak power, 2 µs FWHM pulse, followed by two 400 W peak, 0.4 µs FWHM pulses.
    The carbon monoxide (CO) laser, operating at 5 to 6 µm, plays an important role in future applications in microelectronics manufacturing.
