Dr. Andreas Oehler

As Head of Ultrafast Lasers Applications, Andreas Oehler is responsible for worldwide business development, marketing, and product management for ultrafast lasers applications at Lumentum. He has worked in the laser industry for 20 years. Prior to his eight-year career at Lumentum/JDSU/Time-Bandwidth Products, Andreas has held technical, sales and management positions at other industrial laser manufacturers including Trumpf.

Andreas holds a PhD in Ultrashort Pulsed Laser Physics from ETH Zurich, Switzerland, and was a post-doc research scientist at the same university.

He currently lives in Zurich, Switzerland.
