Mustafa Coskun is the Product Line Manager for Beam Delivery Subsystems at IPG Photonics. He holds BS and MS degrees in Optical Engineering from the University of Rochester as well as a Master’s degree from Simon School of Business Administration and has worked extensively on high power laser technology throughout his career. Prior to IPG, he managed the industrial and high-power laser scanning business at Cambridge Technology. Prior to that, he was responsible for the optical design and implementation of the short pulse front end of Omega EP, a Peta-watt laser system for fusion research at the Laboratory for Laser Energetics. At IPG Photonics, he is leading the effort on expanding the beam delivery product line for industrial laser processing utilizing and focusing on the advantages of IPG’s fiber laser technology.
