Biologist Michael W. Davidson is Assistant Scholar / Scientist at Florida State University, where he oversees the optical microscopy department of National High Magnetic Field Laboratory. Sponsored by the National Science Foundation and the state of Florida, the lab develops and operates state-of-the-art, high-magnetic-field facilities that faculty and visiting scientists and engineers use for research. Davidson is an author of more than 50 peer-reviewed articles and several other publications including books on photomicrography and optical microscopy.
