Henry Langston is a Product Manager at Ocean Optics in Oxford, UK. Henry joined Ocean Optics in 2013 after working with ophthalmic medical devices and gas detection with other subsidiaries of Ocean’s parent company Halma plc. This experience exposed him to the power of photonic technologies and optical sensing. A firm believer in the transformative power of technology, Henry says he loves working with Ocean’s customers to solve real world problems, whether it’s optimizing a spectroscopic measurement in the lab, working out the right light source for an industrial production line or even how to fly a spectrometer on a UAV for remote sensing. Born in New Zealand, Henry was educated at the University of Sydney, Australia where he studied a double degree in Aerospace Engineering and Art History.
