    The HP OmniBER 719 communications performance analyzer offers multirate SONET testing to OC-48 rates. It automatically explores the payload of a SONET signal down to DS3 or DS1 levels. New mappings include E1 (2 Mbit/s) mapped into DS3, DS1 floating byte sync, and VT1.5 bulk-filled mappings.
