Nashua, NH--Do you have an innovative product, application or service that has been released in the last 18 months? Are you making a prominent contribution to the Optics Industry? If you answered yes to both of these questions, you could be a winner of the 2010 CLEO-Laser Focus World Innovation Awards Program (www.cleoconference.org/CLEOApplications/CLEOLFWinnovationawards.aspx) and need to submit your application today!
The Innovation Awards program was established to honor CLEO exhibitors who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and made significant contributions in advancing the field of optics and photonics, and is sponsored by the OSA and PennWell’s Laser Focus World.
CLEO exhibitors have the opportunity to showcase their latest products and services entering the marketplace. This award also offers exhibitors the chance to reach top industry decision makers in attendance at CLEO/QELS: 2010, the premier laser conference.
Entries are judged on:
Impact - How much does his product, application or service benefit or stand to benefit the industry in the future in a unique way?
Functionality - How functional is this product, application or service? How well does it utilize an existing technology?
Life Expectancy Before it is Replaced with Something Bigger/Better - What is the potential for long-term viability of this product, application or service?
Benefits to the Optics Industry - What is the long-term benefit for the industry from this product, application, or service?
Innovation - To what degree does this product, application or service replace or improve an older or existing one?
Patents/Trademarks - Do you or your company hold, have you applied for, or have you been approved for a patent or trademark in relationship to this product, application or service?
Submission Deadline is Wednesday, March 10, 2010 12:00 p.m. noon EST (17.00 GMT).
