OSRAM LED with integrated lens eliminates the need for an external lens assembly

The 850 nm IR DRAGON family consists of the standard version SFH 4232 LED, the stack version SFH 4235 with twice the total radiant flux, and the new SFH 4236 with integrated lens.

The 850 nm IR DRAGON family consists of the standard version SFH 4232 LED, the stack version SFH 4235 with twice the total radiant flux, and the new SFH 4236 with integrated lens. The total height of the new SFH 4236 is about 35% smaller than conventional DRAGON LEDs. The integrated lens concentrates the emitted IR light within a viewing angle of ±20°, eliminating the need for an external lens assembly.
