Manufacturer of precision optical systems, Opto-Alignment Technology, Inc. (Indian Trail, NC), has announced that its facility attained ISO 9001:2008 certification. 

Manufacturer of precision optical systems, Opto-Alignment Technology, Inc. (Indian Trail, NC), has announced that its facility attained ISO 9001:2008 certification. ISO 9000 standards provide a framework for quality management systems.

"Receiving this certification demonstrates the effectiveness of Opto-Alignment Technology, Inc.’s ongoing quality assurance program, including the design, sale, and manufacturing processes." said Daniel Garrett, Production Manager.

According to Sasha Pearlman, President, "The motivation for undertaking the process was not to hang a certificate on the wall, but rather to instill in the organization a culture of continuous progress, process improvement and quality. We know that ultimately this translates into better products, services and satisfaction for our customers."

Opto-Alignment Technology, Inc. is a manufacturer of precision optical systems including OptoWipes, LensHandlers, RotoWands, and the Laser Alignment Assembly and Testing System series. The company is based in the USA serving the international markets of the semiconductor, microlithography, biomedical, metrology and telecommunications industries.
