Allied Vision Technologies opens sales office in Shanghai

Stadtroda, Germany--Camera manufacturer Allied Vision Technologies (AVT) will open a new sales office in the Xuhui district of Shanghai, China, to provide technical support and customer service to local clients.

The Shanghai office will be the company's second location in the Asia-Pacific region. Allied Vision Technologies Asia Pte. Ltd. opened in Singapore in March 2010 and will continue to overlook sales activities in Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, India, Australia and New Zealand.

Allied Vision Technologies now counts seven offices worldwide. Along with its headquarters in Stadtroda and R&D centers in Ahrensburg and Osnabrück (Germany), the company also has a sales office in Newburyport, MA, and an R&D center in Burnaby, BC, Canada.
