A pulse-on-demand module generates optical pulses that represent the direct images of applied electrical pulses, from continuous up to 250 MHz.

A pulse-on-demand module generates optical pulses that represent the direct images of applied electrical pulses, from continuous up to 250 MHz. Typical rise time is 800 ps for pulse durations down to 1.5 ns. Available wavelengths are 976, 1030, 1064, and 1075 nm. The M² is <1.2. Peak power is typically 1.7 W.

Pulse on demand module

Alphavov, Optical and Laser Technological Center, presents an OEM module producing optical pulses with controlled temporal shape (PDM: Pulse on Demand Module). This module generates optical pulses which represent the direct images of the applied electrical pulses(LVTTL, LVDS etc.) from continuous regime up to 250 MHz. Rise time is typically 800 ps for pulse durations as short as 1.5 ns. Available wavelengths are 976, 1030, 1064 and 1075 nm. The M² is less than 1.2. Fibre output (FC/APC) allows easily connection. Peak power is typically 1.7 W.
