Ontario, NY - Optimax Systems, Inc. has signed a multi-year preferred supplier deal with Shanghai Micro-Electronics Equipment Co., Ltd. (SMEE). The signing was memorialized in the White House Fact Sheet on trade deliverables organized as part of a Joint Communique issued during the recent bilateral summit meetings between US President Barack Obama and Chinese President Hu Jintao The deal is expected to bring 50 new high-quality manufacturing jobs to Optimax's Upstate New York facilities.For more information visit www.whitehouse.gov

Before joining SPIE, Anderson was Associate Publisher and Editor in Chief of Laser Focus World and chaired the Lasers & Photonics Marketplace Seminar. Anderson also co-founded the BioOptics World brand. Anderson holds a chemistry degree from the University of York and an Executive MBA from Golden Gate University.
