Previously, Parent served as CFO at optical components and systems company Aegis Lightwave, where he helped grow the company from pre-revenue to profitability. He also played a key role in the sale and post-acquisition integration into II-VI and its subsidiary Photop Technologies following II-VI’s acquisition of Aegis in 2011. He also served as Director of Finance & Controller for Integral Access, a supplier of VoIP access equipment, where he helped raise more than $100 million in equity and debt financing while growing the company from early stage through its acquisition. Parent began his career with numerous accounting and finance positions at National Semiconductor Corp.

John O'Hara, LLE president and CEO, says Parent will help direct many of the company's critical activities following more than $15 million in private funding raised last year, as LLE accelerates product development and manufacturing capabilities.
