Pleasanton, CA--Intelligent robots provider Adept Technology (Nasdaq:ADEP) has appointed four executives to its leadership team, who will be instrumental in the development and execution of the company's growth strategy.
Larry Anderson joins as VP of mobile sales, with responsibility for executing the company's mobile robot strategy on a worldwide basis. He has over 25 years of high-tech sales and sales management experience, most recently with Aehr Test Systems as their VP of worldwide sales. Previously, he held several senior sales management roles within Cymer, Advantest/Verigy, FormFactor, and Komag.
Merrill Apter joins as VP of North American sales, where he is responsible for driving sales in North America and expanding the company's distribution channels in Mexico and Canada. He has over 20 years of sales, business development, and marketing management experience in high technology, industrial OEM, and capital equipment. Prior to joining the company, he served as VP of sales for Americas at Telesis Technologies, a manufacturer of industrial marking and engraving equipment.
Terry Hannon joins as VP of business development and corporate strategy, and is responsible for developing the company's long-term strategy and product roadmaps. Most recently, he served as president and CEO of NP Photonics; prior to this, he held leadership roles as executive VP at XSiL and VP and general manager at Coherent.
Hai Chang has been promoted to VP of Asia and strategic programs, where he oversees the company's operations in Asia, Oceania, and South America. He most recently served as the company's director of sales for the Americas and was also responsible for establishing their subsidiary in China.
