Effingham, England--A series of free, one-day regional roadshows—hosted by Photonex organizer Xmark Media—will offer face-to-face discussions with scientists and researchers who work with the latest tools and techniques in photonics. A good educational opportunity, the first meeting will be held at Imperial College (London, England) on Thursday, April 26.
The conference will hone in on the advances in photonics tools and techniques for the life sciences. Dr. Chris Dunsby, a joint lecturer between Photonics, Department of Physics and the Division of Experimental Medicine in the Department of Medicine at Imperial College, will lead the scientific program, with co-chairs are Dr. Simon Schulz, senior lecturer in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, also at Imperial College, and Dr. Pete Tomlin of the Centre for Diagnostic & Oral Sciences at Queen Mary, University of London.
Running alongside the scientific conference and following the Photonex event format, there will be a series of tutorials to demonstrate the latest photonics techniques available for scientists.
For information on both of these events, visit www.photonex.org, where details of the program and how to register will be available.
