Rugby, England--Industrial laser maker JK Lasers recently named Paul Ferris as worldwide sales director to drive the company's growth strategy—particularly in expanding its range of fiber lasers.
Prior to joining the company, Ferris supported a production and sales division in Suzhou, China, as vice president of SPX Rail Systems. He also ran two operations in Hong Kong as senior project manager for Alstom Transport.
The company manufactures watt to kilowatt fiber lasers, Nd:YAG lasers, and process tools that operate in industrial environments, and plans to add a range of multi-kilowatt fiber lasers later this year.
