Rochester, N.Y. – Truesense Imaging, Inc., a supplier of high-performance image sensors, has launched a new web site at www.truesenseimaging.com that brings an updated design and enhanced content to customers looking to identify the most suitable image sensor device for a variety of applications such as machine vision, traffic, surveillance, medical, photography, and scientific imaging.

The site provides detailed product specifications for over 40 different image sensor product families, with devices ranging in resolution from VGA to over 50 megapixels. A dedicated Markets section highlights the use of these products in a variety of applications ranging from Digitization to Surveillance, and the site also highlights TRUESENSE technologies, a collection of core technologies available in devices to enable a new level of performance, resolution, and image quality.

In addition to information on Truesense Imaging’s full product portfolio, the site includes a variety of support documents and application notes to assist camera manufacturers in optimizing designs for use with these products. Visitors are updated with the latest news from Truesense Imaging directly from the site, including blog entries discussing the company and the use of its products, and Truesense Imaging customers can register on the site for direct access to customer-specific product and account information.

Truesense Imaging, Inc., formerly the Image Sensor Solutions (ISS) division of Eastman Kodak Company, was acquired by Platinum Equity through a transaction with Kodak that closed on November 7, 2011. As part of the Platinum Equity portfolio, Truesense Imaging continues to provide a broad range of image sensor devices that combine the high resolution, ultra-fast frame speeds, and unmatched image quality.
