EMVA names Toni Ventura-Traveset as new president
Frankfurt, Germany--The European Machine Vision Association (EMVA) has named Toni Ventura-Traveset of Datapixel (Barcelona, Spain) as the association's new president, effective May 4.
Named by the EMVA Executive Committee, Ventura-Traveset has been a member of the committee since its foundation in 2003. He succeeds Mats Gökstorp of SICK AG (Waldkirch, Germany), whose term of office concluded at the EMVA Conference 2012 in Lisbon, Portugal.
On the same occasion, the EMVA Executive Committee elected Dirk Käseberg of Mettler-Toledo Garvens (Giesen, Germany) as the association's vice president, while Pierre-Alain Champert of Coherent Europe (Courtaboeuf Cedex, France) was elected treasurer.
