SUSS MicroTec AG acquires 100 percent of shareholding in SUSS MicroOptics S.A.
Garching, Germany – SÜSS MicroTec AG, a supplier of equipment and process solutions for the semiconductor industry and related markets, has increased its shareholding in SUSS MicroOptics S.A., Neuchâtel, Switzerland, from 85 percent to 100 percent.
SUSS MicroOptics is a company for high-quality refractive and diffractive micro-optics. With experience in optical design, micro-fabrication and metrology, the company provides quality components through manufacturing techniques based on 200 mm wafer technology in Quartz and Silicon.
SUSS MicroTec, listed on TecDAX of Deutsche Boerse AG, is a supplier of equipment and process solutions for microstructuring in the semiconductor industry and related markets. In close cooperation with research institutes and industry partners, SUSS MicroTec contributes to the advancement of next-generation technologies such as 3D Integration and nanoimprint lithography as well as key processes for MEMS and LED manufacturing.
