Terrassa, Spain--Non-contact surface metrology systems maker Sensofar-Tech recently expanded its management team, adding Gerald Nitsch as vice president of sales and marketing and Natxo Millan as software manager.

Gerald Nitsch, who has been supporting the company as an external consultant since 2006, brings over 15 years of international entreprenurial and management experience in the photonics industry to his role. Through his previous positions as co-founder and CEO of Mikropack (Germany) and in leading the management team during the establishment of Ocean Optics EMEA (Netherlands and Germany), Nitsch has been directly responsible for several international product launches and their subsequent marketing activities.

Natxo Millan's role will involve developing and optimizing the company's organizational structure, particularly with regard to its expansion, increasing number of products, and the growing complexity of its associated software. Millan has a degree in computer science engineering and an international MBA, and gained his experience as a software developer and project/team manager in a number of internationally oriented companies. Millan succeeds Cristina Cadevall, who now takes on greater responsibility within the R&D group.
