Second annual Laser Fun Day around the corner

Tucson, AZ--Targeting the K–12 set, the University of Arizona College of Optical Sciences student optics group, SOCk, will hold its second annual Laser Fun Day on Saturday, March 31, inviting youngsters from all over the Tucson area to come learn about light.

Tucson, AZ--Targeting the K–12 set, the University of Arizona College of Optical Sciences student optics group, SOCk, will hold its second annual Laser Fun Day on Saturday, March 31, inviting youngsters from all over the Tucson area to come learn about light.

To take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the university's Meinel Building, Laser Fun Day is one of a few offerings of the College's Optics for Kids program. Last year's Laser Fun Day included a treasure hunt with prizes, dozens of demonstration booths, and a one-of-a-kind laser maze, says SOCk.
