Optimax hires Kate Medicus to join R&D team

Ontario, NY--Kate Medicus was hired by Optimax to help the company increase its metrology capabilities.

Ontario, NY--A new hire to optics manufacturing company Optimax Systems will help the Company increase its optical metrology capabilities: Kate Medicus. Medicus earned her Ph.D. from the Center for Precision Metrology at UNC Charlotte and is going to use her expertise to help Optimax achieve highly accurate and reliable interferometric measurement results. Optimax is excited about the increase in capabilities to come.

Optimax is a manufacturing company that provides rapid prototyping of precision optical components in sizes up to 300mm. Optimax specializes in Asphere, Cylinder, Sphere, and Plano/Flat optics. All parts are manufactured to customer-supplied specifications. Final inspection data is included with the optics.
