e2v appoints Paul Brown as e2v Asia Pacific president

Chelmsford, England--Imaging and detection company e2v appointed Paul Brown as president, e2v Asia Pacific.  

Chelmsford, England--Imaging and detection company e2v, who provides solutions, sub-systems, and components for specialist applications within medical & science, aerospace & defence, and commercial & industrial markets, appointed Paul Brown as president, e2v Asia Pacific. Brown will join e2v on 5 September 2011 and will be based at e2v Asia Pacific's Hong Kong office. His principal role will be to lead the expansion of e2v's business in the important Asia Pacific region.

Brown joins e2v from Ultra Clean Technology, a $460M contract manufacturer and systems integrator, where he held the role of senior vice president Asia. In this role, Paul led the Asia Pacific operations and establishment of regional headquarters in Singapore.

Paul has lived and worked in Singapore and Hong Kong for the last twenty four years. In 1984, he received a Bachelor of Engineering with Honors in Chemical Engineering & Fuel Technology from the University of Sheffield in the UK. Paul is tasked with driving the e2v organization forward and expanding on existing resources in sales, engineering support, and after-market services in this strategically important region.

e2v is headquartered in the UK, employs approximately 1500 people, has design and production facilities across Europe and North America, and has a global network of sales and technical support offices.
