Fiberguide Appoints Steve Wilkes VP sales and marketing

Stirling, NJ--Optical fiber manufacturer and custom assembly specialist Fiberguide Industries has named Steve Wilkes as Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Stirling, NJ--Optical fiber manufacturer and custom assembly specialist Fiberguide Industries has named Steve Wilkes as Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Wilkes will be identifying new markets and applications for Fiberguide's coated optical fibers, bundles, assemblies and arrays. He will drive sales growth by developing customer relationships in key markets, as well as manage the company's global sales and marketing team. Wilkes will also oversee Fiberguide's Application Engineering Group, in order to position the company's technical experts one step closer to customers.

Wilkes brings more than a decade of optics experience to Fiberguide. Previously he was Business Unit Manager of Electrical and Fiber Optic Connections at Delphi Connection Systems (Irvine, CA). Prior to that, he was the Vice President of QPC Fiber Optic (San Clemente, CA). Wilkes holds a Master of Business Administration from Pepperdine University (Malibu, CA) and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute (Blacksburg, VA).
