Lock-In Amplifier Modules For Spectroscopy

Jan. 18, 2002
FEMTO Messtechnik has introduced a series of compact and self-contained lock-in amplifiers based on the LIA-BV-150-models. The new series consists of single-phase and dual-phase lock-in amplifiers in a rugged aluminium housing of only 65 x 105 x 223 mm. There are two types each with working frequencies of 5 Hz to 10 kHz and 50 Hz to 120 kHz

The new series consists of single-phase and dual-phase lock-in amplifiers in a rugged aluminium housing of only 65 x 105 x 223 mm. There are two types each with working frequencies of 5 Hz to 10 kHz and 50 Hz to 120 kHz. All devices feature very low noise levels, voltage-type and current-type input amplifiers.

External connectors use BNC-style jacks. Dual-phase units contain in-phase (X), quadrature-phase (Y), and magnitude (R) outputs. Settings for sensitivity, time-constants, and phase may be selected by local switches or by remote control via opto-isolated digital inputs. Provisions are made for installing extras like a reference oscillator module. Applications include spectroscopy, luminescence, fluorescence, or phosphorescence measurements, light scattering measurements, and optoelectronic quality control. LIA-MV-200 modules may substitute for larger and expensive desktop units.
