The companies will work with customers to help them develop advanced opto-electronic medical instruments, from concept design and prototype development to design for manufacture and volume manufacture.

Sira has already established a reputation for supporting the transfer of cutting-edge technology from university lab to commercial application via its advanced development facilities. The company offers an integrated development capability across all of the engineering disciplines (optical/mechanical/electronic/software) coupled with prototype/proof-of-concept precision instrument manufacture using its workshops and clean rooms. The company has particular experience in optical instruments, including laser systems, scanners, spectroscopic, endoscopes, 3D, cognitive vision and all types of imaging and sensing.
