Single-mode cryo laser

Production process yield advances have made possible single-mode, tunable, lead-salt diode lasers. Such lasers were previously only available for multimode operation. Wavelength can be selected from 3.3 to 9.5 µm. Operation is at cryogenic temperature, and the units are suited for spectroscopy applications.
