Designed around a BBO crystal and tunable from 410 to 2200 nm, the Surelite OPO is a compact tunable source. The device is pumped by 355-nm light from the company`s Surelite Nd:YAG laser. For beam quality, the OPO is resonant on the idler beam. Applications include solid- and liquid-state spectroscopy, semiconductor bandgap measurement, ablation, and diode-laser simulations for communications testing.
