JDSU exec to give seminar keynote

SAN JOSE, CA - Phillip Meredith, former president and CEO of Lightwave Electronics and now general manager of the Laser Products Group at JDS Uniphase, will give the keynote address at the annual Lasers & Photonics Marketplace Seminar (January 23, 2006).

Meredith’s presentation, “Value-added manufacturing in the laser industry,” will review key trends in the laser industry, such as globalization of technology, and the increasing need to address rapidly growing commercial uses through value-added manufacturing.
