WASHINGTON, DC--CLEO conference organizer the Optical Society of America (OSA) and PennWell's Laser Focus World (Nashua, NH) wants to know if you have an innovative product, application, or service that has been released in the last 18 months. If you answered yes, you need to submit your product or technology now to the 2010 CLEO/Laser Focus World Innovation Awards Program by completing an application entry at www.cleoconference.org/CLEOApplications/CLEOLFWinnovationawards.aspx.
The Innovation Awards program was established to honor CLEO exhibitors who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and made significant contributions in advancing the field of optics and photonics. CLEO exhibitors have the opportunity to showcase their latest products and services entering the marketplace. This award also offers exhibitors the chance to reach top industry decision makers in attendance at CLEO/QELS 2010, the premier laser conference.
The winning entry will receive the CLEO/Laser Focus World Innovation Award in a special presentation during the Plenary Session on Monday, May 17, 2010. In addition, the chosen entry's submitter will participate in the prestigious CLEO Press Luncheon with other prominent speakers at the conference. Honorable mentions will also be acknowledged during the Plenary Session. All winners and finalists will be highlighted in official conference materials on-site (Conference Program, Exhibit Buyers' Guide) and in a CLEO press release, as well as on signage at the conference.
Award submissions must be received by Wednesday, March 10, 2010 12:00 p.m. noon EST. Submitters will be notified by Monday, March 22, if their submission has been selected.
The CLEO program has been slightly modified in 2010 with the former Photonics Applications, Systems & Technologies or PhAST conference now called CLEO Applications. The former PhAST/Laser Focus World Innovation Awards is now officially called the CLEO/Laser Focus World Innovation Awards, associating the award with a much-better known conference name.
Last year's winner and honorable mentions, in addition to being announced at the conference and presenting their technology at the press luncheon, were also highlighted in Laser Focus World videos that you can view at www.laserfocusworld.com/resourcecenter/video.html?bcpid=1529569205&bclid=1768641336&bctid=25963858001 and www.laserfocusworld.com/resourcecenter/video.html?bcpid=1529569205&bclid=1768641336&bctid=26214521001. In addition, the award winners were highlighted in a summer issue of Laser Focus World to reach an even broader audience.
Don't miss out on an excellent opportunity to promote your company's technological prowess; submit an application today for the CLEO/Laser Focus World Innovation Awards at www.cleoconference.org/CLEOApplications/CLEOLFWinnovationawards.aspx.
