NASHUA, NH--As the editor for Optoelectronics Report for the past few years, I'd like to include a special thanks in this final issue to our production editor, Dawn Adams, for her years of tireless work in making this newsletter look good. In addition, the newsletter could not have been completed every two weeks without the help of its many contributing editors--especially Barbara Goode, chief editor of BioOptics World, and John Wallace, senior editor of Laser Focus World.

Please note that Optoelectronics Report is not really going away, it is simply transitioning to an online Business Center on the Laser Focus World website that will not only include originally reported business news in text form, but also industry videos and interviews that can only be brought to you in an online, digital-media format. Please visit our Business Center at www.optoiq.com/index/photonics-technologies-applications/lfw-business-center.html. As always, I welcome your opinions and story ideas to continuously improve the photonics business-news content of Laser Focus World; please send your emails to [email protected].
