The f/1.4 SWIR lens series from Optec S.p.A. (Parabiago, Italy) is designed for large-format (20.5 mm), short wavelength infrared (SWIR) imagers, and combines high throughput with low vignetting and distortion. Ideal for a variety of high-performance imaging applications, the Optec f/1.4 SWIR series is optimized for use with indium gallium arsenide (InGaAs) SWIR sensors. Individual models support 900-1700 nm, 1700-2300 nm, and 900-2300 nm wavelength bands, and five focal lengths ranging from 25 to 100 mm are available. Additional features include a front protective window, a choice of lens mounts (Nikon F-mount, Canon FD mount, or M42 thread mount), and standard front threads for bandpass filters, which allow for a large working distance from the back of the lens to the focal plane.
