OCTOBER 21, 2009--At the 2009 American Academy of Ophthalmology meeting in San Francisco (October 24-27) Iridex Corp.(Mountain View, CA) will unveil two new products: the IQ 532 ophthalmic green laser photocoagulator and a Modular Multi-Wavelength laser photocoagulator.

OCTOBER 21, 2009--At the 2009 American Academy of Ophthalmology meeting in San Francisco (October 24-27) Iridex Corp. (Mountain View, CA) will unveil two new products: the IQ 532 ophthalmic green laser photocoagulator and a Modular Multi-Wavelength laser photocoagulator.

According to the company, two notable features of the IQ 532 are dual-port laser output whereby physicians can connect a delivery device to each laser port and switch between the two without changing connections and an enhanced user interface featuring touchscreen options for storing system presents and voice confirmation.

The Multi-Wavelength laser photocoagulator system uses two wavelengths: yellow (577) and infrared (810).
