Gooch & Housego to debut optical delay line for OCT at Strategies in Biophotonics 2014
A motorized optical delay line for optical coherence tomography (OCT) applications, including ophthalmic imaging for early diagnosis of macular degeneration and glaucoma, allows the interferometer path length in an OCT system to be scanned through the coherence point to enable image formation. Key requirements of the design are repeatability and accuracy of the scan distance throughout the lifetime of the instrument.
