LED light engines for fluorescence imaging by Innovations in Optics

Nov. 18, 2014
LumiBright LE LED light engines from Innovations in Optics have use as excitation illuminators for large field-of-view fluorescence imaging.

LumiBright LE LED light engines from Innovations in Optics (Woburn, MA) have use as excitation illuminators for large field-of-view fluorescence imaging, such as in used in gel & Western blot documentation systems, real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR) thermocyclers, automated colony counters, chlorophyll fluorescence imagers, low-density microarray analyzers, and small-animal, in vivo fluorescence imaging systems. Features include patented non-imaging optics that direct LED light into a desired cone angle for uniform output angularly and spatially, two standard far-field half-angles at 20 and 40 degrees, and peak LED wavelengths from 365 to 970 nm.
