UV10TKMed high-viscosity epoxy from Master Bond is an optically clear, one-part system for bonding, sealing, and coating in medical device manufacturing applications.

UV10TKMed high-viscosity epoxy from Master Bond (Hackensack, NJ) is an optically clear, one-part system for bonding, sealing, and coating in medical device manufacturing applications. The epoxy cures in 20–30 s when exposed to a ultraviolet (UV) light source emitting at 320–365 nm with energy output as low as 20–40 mW per cm2, and bonds to glass, composites, surface-treated metals, and plastics such as polycarbonates and acrylics, among others. It also resists repeated sterilization, including radiation, ethylene oxide, chemical sterilants, and autoclaving, and operates from -60° to 450°F.
