ULTRA mid-infrared bandpass filters from Alluxa (Santa Rosa, CA) feature hard coatings using the company's plasma physical vapor deposition technology, and include narrowband, multiband, notch, and edge versions. The filters offer steep slopes and square filter profiles as well as an absence of absorption in the water band at 2.7 µm, enabling transmission at all wavelengths between 2.5 and 3.0 µm.
