The Coherent Raman spectroscopy system from Genia Photonics (Laval, QC, Canada) can acquire quantitative information about solids, liquids, and gases. The system integrates the company's computer-controlled Synchronized Programmable fiber laser to detect and analyze traces of molecules using high-sensitivity detectors rather than a spectrometer. Able to detect molecular spectra between 2825 and 3000 cm-1 (including lipids), applications include coherent anti-Stokes Raman spectroscopy (CARS), frequency-modulation CARS (FM-CARS), stimulated Raman scattering (SRS), and FM-SRS.
