The FourierScope gigapixel microscopy system from Clearbridge BioPhotonics employs wide-field, high-resolution Fourier ptychographic microscopy (FPM) to transform a standard microscope into an advanced imaging system.

The FourierScope gigapixel microscopy system from Clearbridge BioPhotonics (Singapore) employs wide-field, high-resolution Fourier ptychographic microscopy (FPM) to transform a standard microscope into an advanced imaging system. By adopting a wavefront correction technique, the FPM method can correct for aberrations and digitally extend a microscope’s depth of focus beyond the physical limitations of its optics. The system also offers dynamic zoom and digital refocusing across the entire field of view and at different focal planes, even after image acquisition, for applications such as anatomic pathology.
