The SPOT Insight CMOS camera from SPOT Imaging (Sterling Heights, MI) features a Sony Pregius sensor, USB 3.0 interface, and global shutter that works with the company's SPOT software auto-exposure scheme to produce distortion-free, live image viewing of moving specimens at 22 frames/s at full resolution. The camera's low read noise and high quantum efficiency facilitate use in live-cell, brightfield, histology, pathology, cytology, and bright fluorescence imaging.
