The FemtoOptics 1-in.-diameter ultrafast chirped mirrors allow dispersion compensation of 10 fs and shorter laser pulses.

The FemtoOptics 1-in.-diameter ultrafast chirped mirrors from Newport Corporation (Irvine, CA) allow dispersion compensation of 10 fs and shorter laser pulses. The high reflectivity of the mirrors supports high throughput, while the proprietary coating design accurately controls higher order dispersion. The matched pair of mirrors reflect over 95% from 700 to 890 nm, and are designed for use with the company's Spectra-Physics Tsunami, Spitfire Pro, or MaiTai lasers. The mirrors provide negative group velocity dispersion to the incoming laser beam with every bounce off the surface.
