    The Tu Series TEM00 tunable Ti:sapphire laser from Photonics Industries (Ronkonkoma, NY) features a pulse width that matches to the lifetime of many fluorophores (~10 ns). With its ~700 to 900 nm tuning range, pulse repetition frequency up to 10 KHz, and >1 W average power, the laser has uses in photoacoustic ultrasound medical imaging, photoacoustic tomography, 3D photoacoustic microscopy, UV surface excitation microscopy, and laser surgery, among other applications.
