The AvaSpec-NIR 2.5-HSC near-infrared (NIR) spectrometers from Avantes have uses in medical applications.

The AvaSpec-NIR 2.5-HSC near-infrared (NIR) spectrometers from Avantes (Apeldoorn, Netherlands) have uses in medical applications, among others, that require higher resolution or more data points for multivariate modeling. Based on a 100 mm optical bench with a NA of 0.13, the spectrometers feature 256 or 512 pixel InGaAs detectors, and a replaceable slit. Multiple configurations and a range of gratings are also available.
