Deep-cooled scientific spectroscopy camera by Horiba Scientific

Feb. 25, 2015
The Synapse EM deep-cooled EMCCD scientific camera has uses in low-light and ultrafast spectroscopy experiments.

The Synapse EM deep-cooled EMCCD scientific camera from Horiba Scientific (Edison, NJ) has uses in low-light and ultrafast spectroscopy experiments, and is available in front- and back-illuminated versions for optimal quantum efficiency. With a sensor format of 1600 × 200 or 1600 × 400 and a 16 µm pixel size, the camera comes with a standard dual readout mode that allows switching automatically between EMCCD mode for low-light measurements and conventional CCD mode for standard spectroscopy.
